Responsibilities

As The International Security Team Lead, you will:

  • Coordinate security requirements associated with foreign participation, international visits, partner engagement, and classified activities in multinational environments.
  • Apply access, facility, information-protection, and compartmented-environment controls while enabling authorized collaboration with external partners.
  • Work across Government, contractor, disclosure, export, visitor-control, and operational stakeholders to plan engagements, document requirements, resolve issues, and protect sensitive information throughout international interactions.
  • By integrating international mission needs with disciplined security procedures, the Security Specialist International supports effective partner activity without weakening need-to-know, releasability, access, or secure-facility protections.
  • Maintain records and guidance needed for consistent execution across recurring and high-visibility international events.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate security planning for foreign participation, international visits, meetings, technical exchanges, and partner-facing activities.
  • Apply access, need-to-know, releasability, escort, and secure-environment requirements to international engagements.
  • Integrate actions with foreign-disclosure, export-compliance, visitor-control, physical-security, and operational stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain international-security procedures, visit documentation, access records, coordination packages, and tracking tools.
  • Assess security implications of proposed partner activities and recommend controls that enable authorized collaboration.
  • Brief Government and contractor stakeholders on protection requirements, responsibilities, restrictions, and approved procedures.
  • Monitor international-security actions and resolve coordination issues that could affect mission schedules or sensitive information.
  • Support reviews and assessments of multinational activities to confirm consistent application of approved protections.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant discipline and 10 years of directly relevant experience; or a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline plus 14 years of directly related work experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of DoDM 5205.07 Volumes Demonstrated knowledge of Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705.
  • Experience must include support to Special Access Program and Sensitive Compartmented Information environments
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate effectively across Government, contractor, and external stakeholders; prepare briefings, reports, standard operating procedures, and official correspondence; and lead a team in fast paced classified environments.
  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility; must be able to meet any applicable Special Access Program eligibility requirements identified by the Government.

     

Pay Transparency Statement

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $110,500.00/Yr. - USD $184,600.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
