Overview

Responsibilities

Facilitating multi-component / multiclassification level Joint experimentation designed to accelerate innovation and modernization efforts to compete with peer and near-peer adversaries. Efforts and experiments are designed to validate and accelerate required capabilities enabling the JWC; facilitate rapid modernization of the force; inform budget decisions that affect changes throughout the Department; and foster collaboration among Government laboratories, academia, commercial research, and innovation institutions. Prototype & Experiments capabilities will execute threat informed system-of-systems experiments to fully address Joint capability gaps and serve as an integrating effort for DoW and Service prototyping capabilities.

  • Conduct technology and program protection risk and vulnerability assessments for acquisition programs, and review and approve Program Protection Plans (PPPs).
  • Support the application of system-level assurance, including software and hardware assurance, and shall provide inputs to policy as appropriate.
  • Plan, develop, update, implement, and recommend best practices for technology and program protection.
  • Draft inputs for security classification guides as appropriate.
  • Assist the organization and conduct of industry and Department facing meetings, workshops, and fora including meeting planning, implementation, coordination, participation, actions items and action item tracking; maintaining the website and its content; and maintaining distributions.
  • Participate in red teaming activities and exercises to identify the range of adversarial responses to capabilities being developed and systems being protected.

Qualifications

  • Fifteen (15) years’ experience managing SAP projects and five (5) years’ experience in the analysis and demonstration of technical capabilities.
  • Demonstrated experience managing technology applications related to SAP projects.
    Technical Focus:
    Ten (10) years’ experience executing the following: analysis, assessment, demonstration, testing, and/or experimentation of technical capabilities.
    Technology & Security Integration:
    Ten (10) years’ experience supporting the analysis, assessment, demonstration, testing, and/or experimentation of SAP capabilities and technologies.
    Eight (8) years’ experience researching and integrating technologies that support the SAP security processes.
  • Must have a current and active TS/SCI security clearance with SAP experience.
  • U.S. Citizenship Required for the purposes of obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearance.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in engineering or physical sciences and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree or master’s degree in a related field.
  • Preferred Skills and Experience: Military or DoW experience.

Pay Transparency Statement

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $186,800.00/Yr. - USD $311,900.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
