As a Security Accreditation Specialist with AMERICAN SYSTEMS, you will serve as a subject matter expert providing critical support for the design, construction, and accreditation of multi-level secure facilities. You will be the primary technical advisor on the interpretation and application of national-level policies governing SCIFs and SAPFs, ensuring the client's most sensitive missions can be conducted in fully compliant and accredited environments.
You will have the opportunity to do the following:
Lead Facility Accreditation Efforts:
Serve as the primary subject matter expert on Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705, its technical specifications, and all relevant Special Access Program (SAP) physical security manuals.
Perform comprehensive technical reviews of facility design drawings and blueprints from initial concept to final build-out, providing expert feedback to government and architectural teams.
Author, manage, and staff all required documentation for facility accreditation, including Concept Approval Requests, Construction Security Plans (CSPs), and final accreditation packages for submission to DIA and other governing authorities.
Develop and oversee the implementation of Construction Security Plans, including procedures for construction worker management, visitor logging, device logging, and secure material transportation.
Coordinate with Certified TEMPEST Technical Authorities (CTTA) and Information Systems Security Managers (ISSM) to ensure all technical security requirements are fully integrated into facility designs.
Administer and Coordinate DoD Security Programs:
Administer and coordinate DoD and other industrial security programs to ensure compliance with government and company security policies and procedures.
Provides guidance and support to staff members concerning all security administrative functions, such as personnel security, information and system security, COMSEC, and physical security to ensure compliance with standards.
Provides administrative security support associated with the receipt, distribution, inventory, reproduction, and disposition of classified material.
May act as Top Secret Control Officer (TSCO) for projects.
Manage Physical and General Security Procedures:
Administers and maintains physical security procedures for visitor control, employee identification, and safeguarding of company facilities, equipment, materials, and employee property.
Prepares, sends, and receives visitor certifications.
Periodically inspects the facility to ensure physical security measures are effective and compliant.
Provides oversight for programs for the protection of classified information as well as propriety information.
Develops and conducts security briefings and security education programs.
Investigates losses and security violations and recommends corrective actions.
Manages the continuing eligibility program for employees.
