Overview

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is an employee-owned federal government contractor supporting national priority programs through our strategic solutions in the areas of Information Technology, Test & Evaluation, Program Mission Support, Engineering & Analysis, and Training.

Responsibilities

  • Implements of enterprise requirements information systems (e.g IBM DOORs) usage across shipbuilding programs.
  • Executes the implementation of advanced software features such as the Change Proposal System (CPS).
  • Manages processes and works with stakeholders to ensure standardized data entry.
  • Manages requirements database configuration user access, and data baselines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineer, Ocean Engineering or related field
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship Required for the purposes of obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearance
  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience administering and maintaining a requirements documentation related to a defense program with at least 3 years administering and maintaining requirements management information systems.

  • IBM Rational Dynamic Object Oriented Requirements Systems (DOORS) advanced level training/certification.

Pay Transparency Statement

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $91,600.00/Yr. - USD $153,000.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
