Responsibilities

As a UH-60M Instructor Pilot - Army SATMO with AMERICAN SYSTEMS you will have the opportunity to do the following:

 

  • The Instructor Pilot shall serve as the TAFT Instructor Pilot and the Senior TAFT Advisor for unit training, standardization and UH- 60M tactical employment. The SIP shall provide ground training and mentorship to LAF Pilots and Instructor Pilots.
  • The Instructor Pilot shall also provide Contractor prepared training for systems academics, simulator support, operation of installed mission equipment, aircraft and team tactical employment and system sustainment under day, night, night systems, enclosed cockpit, simulated instrument and simulated combat conditions.
  • The Instructor Pilot shall manage the team's internal standardization and crewmember training sustainment program (similar to the Commander's Aircrew Training Program).
  • The Instructor Pilot shall be responsible for LAF maintenance and certification of aircrew member training folders; monitoring of currency, medical, and proficiency requirements as incorporated and executed by LAF internal procedures.

 

Qualifications

  • Shall be previously qualified as a U.S. Army UH-60M SIP and rated in the UH-
    60M.
  • Experience as an Aviation Tactical Operations Officer, Safety Officer, and
    Qualification as an Instrument Examiner highly desired.
  • The SIP shall have a minimum of 3,000 total flight hours, 2,000 cumulative UH-60M hours, and 1,000 hours cumulative as an UH-60M Instructor Pilot.
  • Shall be proficient in over-water and Search and Rescue operations.
  • Shall have experience as an Instructor Pilot at Company/Battalion level or higher.
  • Shall be Dunker/Helicopter Emergency Egress Device (HEED) current.
  • Previous Security Assistance Team experience is desired.

 

Pay Transparency Statement

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $91,600.00/Yr. - USD $153,000.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
