Overview

Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated individual to join our team as a Program Management Analyst and SAP Subject Matter Expert. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience supporting multiple DoD programs and efforts within the Special Access Community.  They will have experience engaging and interacting with senior government personnel (Flag/SES) in key decision making. This role will primarily support our program management and business development efforts, leveraging their unique expertise and leadership skills. Lead and support program management initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, industry partners, and clients.
  • Provide strategic guidance and direction to project teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Utilize extensive knowledge of the Special Access Community to inform and enhance program management strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative solutions to complex challenges.
  • Represents the organization at industry events, conferences, and meetings.
  • Works as a consulting team member or an individual consultant providing objective advice, expertise and specialized skills in, but not limited to, supporting projects related to SAP and USAF efforts
  • These senior employees are considered experts in a functional domain (e.g., large scale enterprise solutions, acquisition, industry, client, finance, organizational development, etc.) with considerable years of experience. SMEs prepare and deliver presentations to colleagues, subordinates, commercial clients and government representatives.
  • Produces and/or reviews documentation and reports reflecting knowledge of areas as identified in the statement of work.
  • May take on a supervisory role and/or lead specific projects and business development efforts.

Qualifications

  • Masters degree and 11-14 years of related work experience
  • Proven track record in program management within the defense sector.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Pay Transparency Statement

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $155,700.00/Yr. - USD $260,000.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
