AMERICAN SYSTEMS is seeking a Ship Manager Representative with 10 years of experience and a secret clearance to support The US Navy Code 226 Ship Modernization Program in Pearl Harbor, HI
Responsibilities
Lead the planning and execution of ship modernization projects.
Ensure that all modernization efforts are completed on schedule and within budget.
Provide technical guidance and expertise during the modernization process.
Ensure compliance with Navy standards and specifications.
Act as the primary point of contact between the Navy and contractors/vendors.
Facilitate communication and collaboration among various stakeholders, including engineering teams, logistics personnel, and ship crews.
Monitor modernization activities to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
Conduct inspections and evaluations of completed work.
Maintain thorough documentation of all modernization activities and changes made to the ship.
Prepare reports on project status, challenges, and accomplishments for higher management and stakeholders.
Oversee the financial aspects of modernization projects, including cost estimates, budgets, and expenditure tracking.
Provide training to ship’s crew on new systems and equipment that have been installed or modernized.
Offer continued support and troubleshooting after modernization is complete.

Qualifications
High School Diploma
Active DoD Secret Clearance
10 years of experience in the following areas:
Engineering, naval architecture, or a related field.
Ship systems, maintenance, and modernization.
Excellent project management and communication skills.
Navy standards and operational requirements.
Pay Transparency Statement

Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
