Perform Software Systems Engineering for the development and sustainment phases of a project relative to mission planning software supporting aircraft and weapons systems.
Ability to evaluate the impact of new capabilities and/or updated hardware and software on meeting the requirements and the mission performance on support software systems.
Develop, review, and comment on H-60 software requirements during the development and sustainment phases of a project based upon PMA-299 provided information by developing trade-off studies, engineering approach analyses, system implementation analyses, and performing research to provide recommendations.
Makes recommendations about human systems engineering.
Experience with DOD Systems Engineering Technical Reviews, Systems Software and Systems-of-Systems engineering, model-based systems engineering approaches, and systems safety & reliability is desired.
The successful candidate should possess strong communication (written/ oral) and presentations skills and strong critical thinking and reasoning skills.
BS or BA degree in a Technical Discipline.
At least ten (10) years of experience in Systems Engineering supporting DoD aircraft systems, DoD weapons systems, DoD mission systems or DoD support systems, consisting of the design, development, integration and system testing of computer hardware and software.
Ability to decompose requirements into technical system and software requirements is required.
Experience with Mission Planning Software, DOORS®, Atlassian Jira and Confluence, and agile project development lifecycle is highly desired.
