Overview

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is an employee-owned federal government contractor supporting national priority programs through our strategic solutions in the areas of Information Technology, Test & Evaluation, Program Mission Support, Engineering & Analysis, and Training.

Responsibilities

  • Apply systems engineering methodologies and tools to enable the successful realization, use, and retirement of engineered systems, using systems principles and concepts, and scientific, technological, and management methods across all engineering disciplines.
  • Conduct AoAs to assess design solution alternatives, facilitate cooperation among stakeholders to define technology applications, develop CONOPS and TTPs, integrate engineering activities across the development, conduct engineering studies, develop the Systems Engineering Management Plan, provide analysis to program support reviews such as SRR and SFR, and perform engineering functions in support of experimentation, development, integration, operations, and sustainment across the system lifecycle.
  • Apply expertise of key technology areas, including hypersonics, AI/ML, cybersecurity, and space/near space systems to inform design of mission-focused testing approaches and tools.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 10+ years of Systems Engineering experience
  • Active TS/SCI clearance

Pay Transparency Statement

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $108,100.00/Yr. - USD $180,600.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
