Responsibilities

As an Acquisition Logistics Support SME you will have the opportunity to do the following:

  • Plan, develop, implement, and manage effective logistics strategies that are cost-effective and comprehensive.
  • Engage in diverse areas like sustaining/system engineering, maintenance planning, and technical data management, ensuring a robust support framework.
  • Key participant in formulating long-term weapon system support strategies that bolster government acquisition objectives.
  • Generate and review essential logistics documents such as ILSPs and LCSPs to meet governmental standards.
  • Oversee logistics and maintainability programs, perform technical evaluations, and execute RAM-C test planning and assessments.
  • Aid in gathering and analyzing logistical, acquisition, and financial data to support program objectives.
  • Assist the program office from Materiel Solution Analysis to Operations and Support phases, ensuring seamless transitions.
  • Support technical analyses, facilitate updates, and ensure interoperability through thorough documentation reviews.
  • Develop and validate documentation for logistics and management information systems, enhancing automated reporting.
  • Assess and recommend actions for government/contractor plans to maintain compliance and optimize resource availability.
  • Technical Data and Engineering Support:
  • Manage technical data requirements, conduct analysis, and facilitate engineering data delivery.
  • Analyze deficiencies, propose improvements, and resolve issues related to DMSMS and supply chain inefficiencies.
  • Prepare and coordinate various program documents essential to project success.
  • Organize meetings, VTCs, and conferences to facilitate effective communication and strategic planning.
  • Interpret digital strategies and implement them to enhance digital material management within enterprise initiatives.
  • This role demands an unparalleled level of expertise and strategic vision, ensuring that logistics and acquisition processes meet the highest standards of effectiveness and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • MS/MA, MBA, or higher in relevant fields.

  • In lieu of a MS/MA or higher or an MBA, a BS/BA degree and twenty-five (25) years of relevant experience with the DoD, other government agency.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a SAP/SCI environment within the last 5 years.
  • Active Top Secret (TS) clearance based on a Single Scope Background Investigation.
  • Eligibility for SCI and SAP access.

Pay Transparency Statement

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $91,800.00/Yr. - USD $193,200.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
