Responsibilities

As a Senior Technical Writer you will have the opportunity to do the following:

  • Plan, develop and execute acquisition related policies, processes, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for the USCG Offshore Patrol Cutter (OPC) Ship Design Team
  • Develop and document internal/external business processes and contract requirements at all stages of a program’s life cycle.
  • Deliver high quality documentation summarizing complex technical concepts in an easily understandable format.
  •  Develop high-level reports and presentations for briefing Program Managers and senior leadership on all elements of acquisition program performance with quantitative analysis and recommendations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Ability to obtain a secret clearance
  • At least 5+ years of experience in writing and reviewing technical engineering documents.

Pay Transparency Statement

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $63,700.00/Yr. - USD $134,100.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
