As a Sr. DT&E Engineer/Analyst (Air Systems) you will have the opportunity to do the following:
- Conduct analysis of emerging DoD air system programs using modern digital engineering tools and reviewing historical performance of related programs, technologies, and activities.
- Evaluate the acquisition and technology risks of air-systems programs and supporting development; secure cutting-edge technology and engineering capabilities to facilitate modernization efforts across DoD.
- Analyze and evaluate acquisitions programs to support timely delivery of key warfighting capabilities to DoD. Integrate analysis of digital engineering artifacts into the assessment
- Work with a team of driven, supportive and highly skilled professionals; work closely with senior government decision makers and managers and stay in sync with DoD priorities.
- Manage your efforts within a mixed virtual-, in-person work center.
- Provide Developmental Test and Evaluation (DT&E) and Systems Engineering support the government on advanced air systems.
- Provide DTE&A Assessments and risk evaluations to OUSD(R&E), Milestone Decision Authorities, Services, and PEOs.
- Review and assess Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMPs), developmental test plans, System Engineering Plans (SEPs), Lifecycle Sustainment Plan (LCSPs), Acquisition Decision Memoranda (ADMs), Acquisition Baselines and Strategies, and other milestone decision documents.
- Evaluate test results, schedules, resources, and technological risks for program reviews.
- Provide working-level integrated product teams (WIPTs) Test and Evaluation and systems engineering support. Support Independent Technical Risk Assessments (ITRA).
- Develop papers, reports, and briefings targeted to senior OSD decision makers.
- Assess and provide recommendations on DT&E policy.
