As a Senior Program Manager with AMERICAN SYSTEMS, you will have an opportunity to do the following:
- Lead a complex Training Systems Sustainment and Contractor Logistics Support contract with over 200 multi-disciplinary engineering and operational personnel running and maintaining 50+ training devices at a number of locations nation and worldwide
- Partner with AFSOC leadership to execute training program plan and evolve projections and needs for the evolutions of the program
- Manage experienced technology professionals who exercise latitude and independence in their software and hardware development and management assignments
- Provide operational direction for the program, including setting strategic and technical priorities for the staff as well as negotiating scope, budget, and schedule with the customer
- Plan, conduct, and supervise complex assignments, involving significant scope responsibilities and multiple inter-dependent projects or tasks
- Responsible for developing and maintaining program policies, including Quality, Change Control, Configuration, and Risk Management, Cyber Security, Distributed Mission Operations, and applying contractual and operational policies
- Direct Profit and Loss responsibility of multifaceted Fixed Price Program
- Team Leadership and Management: Hiring and staffing, team development, and team member performance evaluations
- Project Management: Project planning, resource allocation, problem solving, managing the top-level Master Schedule
- Operational Oversight and Innovation: Operational guidance, innovation, making the hard calls
- Collaboration and Communication: Manage complex Stakeholder communication, internal communication, documentation, client interaction, managing relationships and Associate Contractor Agreements with other vendors and OEMs
- Strategic Planning: Goal setting, budget management, process improvement
- Quality Assurance: Standards compliance, testing, risk management, and approval of CDRLs before customer delivery
- Customer/ executive briefings and reporting (ex., delivery of the Program Management Review and the Integrated Program Management Report)
