Overview

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is an employee-owned federal government contractor supporting national priority programs through our strategic solutions in the areas of Information Technology, Test & Evaluation, Program Mission Support, Engineering & Analysis, and Training.

Responsibilities

As a Training Specialist III with AMERICAN SYSTEMS you will have the opportunity to do the following:

  • Provide training support services including development of CANES system training requirements and documentation of those requirements in the CANES Navy Training System Plan (NTSP).
  • Design training solutions, procures HW/SW and engineering services for installation of those training solutions at Fleet Concentration Area (FCA) sites.
  • Develops Navy Standard courses implementing the training solutions and conducts CANES technical training

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree and 12+ years of expeirence OR Master's Degree and 10+ years of experience
  • Active Secret Clearance


At least Ten (10) years of experiece in:

  • Professional training experience in the training development environment.
  • Technical Training in TACNET or other Navy C4I systems Administration and Maintenance.
  • Navy Shipboard Networks to include CANES or other TACNET systems. 
  • Experience should include three (3) of the following four (4) areas: Network Administration, System Administration, Technical Documentation, and Training.
  • Recognized expert who has demonstrated expertise in C4I Networks and System Administration.

Pay Transparency Statement

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $110,600.00/Yr. - USD $232,600.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
