Responsibilities

As a Program Analyst for Directed Energy, you will have the opportunity to do the following:


  • Assist, prepare and conduct meetings for Directed Energy Principal Directors Office.
  • Review requirements for the application of current and emerging Directed Energy technologies as they apply across the DoD.
  • Coordinate activity support for development of Directed Energy roadmaps, coordinate roadmaps with key stakeholders.
  • Assist and prepare presentations and reports to DoD leadership and outside DoD.
  • Analyze the Directed Energy budget.
  • Provide programmatic expertise to the Government on Directed Energy topics.
  • Make recommendations to the development of Concepts of Operations (CONOPS) pertinent to mission needs and technical capabilities.
  • Document OUSD R&E Principal Director for Directed Energy participation in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and at Government-approved conferences and forums in addition to specific USD R&E projects.

Qualifications

  • Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility within the last 24 months
  • Master’s Degree in a relevant Science, Technology, Engineering or Math discipline.
  • 7-10 years’ experience in Directed Energy

Pay Transparency Statement

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $91,800.00/Yr. - USD $193,200.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
