Responsibilities

As a Air and Missle Defense Systems Technician with AMERICAN SYSTEMS you will have the opportunity to do the following:

  • Serve as the subject matter expert in the employment, operation and maintenance of the THAD system
  • Monitor the AMD system and related support equipment to prevent, detect, diagnose, or repair operator error and/or system malfunctions
  • Coach, teach, mentor and evaluate Soldiers in AMD system on maintenance procedures
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of battery, battalion, and brigade maintenance programs. Manage the use and care of special tools and support equipment.
  • Monitor and coordinate the installation of modifications to the AMD system
  • Implement proper safety and security procedures applicable to the B41 operation and maintenance support of the AMD system

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree and eight (8) to ten (10) years of related experience; a combination of education and experience can be used in lieu of degree
  • SECRET clearance
  • Five (5) years of experience as a MOS 140L in a US Army Patriot Battalion/THAD Battery

  • Two (2) years of experience in a US Army THADD Battery
  • Electronic Missile Maintenance Officer (EMMO) at a US THAAD Battery

Pay Transparency Statement

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $92,100.00/Yr. - USD $193,900.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
